    I don’t know but our artificial, perstrung lighted tree is now about 15 years old and still looks good. Think of the water that 15 real trees would have required and the energy costs (enviornmentally) to cut, transport and finally mulch them would have been. Let the war begin.

    hope he gets the trees from a place that replants trees to replace those that are sold. does he have trees that are yo can plant after having them inside for the holidays?

    We have a very nice tree in the front yard that we decorate. It looks good even after the snows up here. And we patronize a tree farm north of us that will take the old trees back and grind them into mulch to feed the upcoming crops.

    If you don’t burn it, but compost it after the holidays, you are putting all the carbon that the tree sequestered into the ground. Where it will actually do some good.

    Sorry, I bought a really good fake tree over 10 years ago, on sale after Christmas, and it’s still in perfect condition. Real trees are cool once or twice, but they’re mostly a pain in the arse.
