Went thirsty until they reached a bar.

When we were kids, we drank out of the nearest garden hose. And we lived!

The problem is most parks do not have water fountains anymore

Hunted for wells!

That is one thing that disappeared, along with the phone booth.

We drank from the water fountain. We went and sat down at the restaurant and drank from real glasses. Our soft drinks came in glass bottles.

Yup!

Or we just didn’t drink as often or as much.

People in the old days worked their a$$e$ off to create an advanced society where you could enjoy bottles of water, cans of soda, and slushy drinks.
