Sounds like the prof. I had for History of Great Britain. I found myself making hash marks for every time he said “and uh” instead of taking notes about the angles, saxons and jutes. I learned more from independent reading than from that class. Fifty years after getting my degree in English Education, I’m still reading books about the history of Great Britain, so at least he didn’t kill my love for the subject.
