I never used to think much about getting older. I think I’ll just stay 85. I look pretty good and I feel great and nothing is wrong with me, so…. that’s it. No more birthdays.
A story I’ve told many times, read in a Swedish newspaper:
A young (of course) reporter for the paper, interviewing a woman on her 100th birthday, asked her how it felt to have reached the grand old age of 100. Her reply… “Not much different from 99.”
