Nightmares are really just “dreams”…. so to say wildest dreams is not far off… dreaming of these things can seem “wild”, or “crazy”, but it would be negative to just say these things are nightmares… tests and being in underwear are “fears”,, but not necessarily “nightmares”….==That being said, it’s a pun on the term “my wildest dreams”…. when people say they can make your “wildest dreams come true”, and other forms of this expression… this is a play on those words… that would be the more positive side, as opposed to just “nightmare”….
Many people have nightmares (wild dreams) about what they fear. Miniature monkeys are terrifying. Who wouldn’t hate to be followed around by six hamburgers? And worst of all, imagine the horror of having dinner with an attractive woman who is a good listener. Wait a minute…
That IS a lot of wild dreams rolled into one! I can imagine myself reincarnated as a bird (I love birds and somehow identify with them) but cannot imagine bringing a failing grade to the dinner table (if I had one) or eating multiple burgers at a meal. Monkeys are primates but also have no hygiene, so I wouldn’t have one nearby. Oh, and the polka dot boxers – nuff said.
The monkey is a reference to the short story “The Monkey’s Paw”, a cautionary tale about being careful what you wish for. Sometimes a hamburger is just a hamburger (meaning I have no clue…).
hahahahahahaha!!! better than the comic where both the people on the date were ‘cat people’
Oh there are so many people who are not ‘in tune’ with this comic who ’don’t get it.’ You know when people say something to the effect of ‘this will be beyond your wildest dreams,’ referring to something amazing and incredible.
So here’s a guy whose wildest dreams did come true – like, crazy, bizarre dreams (both good and bad/just plain weird) where he became a bird, where he was in public wearing shorts, where he got a bunch of burgers/sandwiches, etc.

HUH? Anyone able to explain this one? My son said, “That’s crazy!” but I don’t get it at all.

Walking in for a test in a class you completely forgot to study for is a very common dream. I don’t get the hamburgers or the monkey.
