Man: You want to know where I lived when I was a boy? Well, I grew up in East Germany. My father was a farmer. One day, he beat me up so bad, I decided to run away from home. I didn't care if I lived or died, so when I came to the wall, I went over it...and I lived. I worked my way to France where I jumped a freighter to Montreal. I was 16. I was sick. I had no money, but I had my fiddle with me, an' I guess I could play pretty good back then, so... But I must be boring you.
