Connie reminds me too much of an email friend who is so needy that she phones me long distance for chats about a BF she thinks she thinks is her soulmate even though he has a GF closer to his own age and she’s older, though still young. I try ro regard her as a very messed up daughter, though she’s even younger than my kids (and mine have already made me grandmother of 6). I try to encourage her to find friends she can really relate to in her own geographic location and who might share her ideas and interests. Some people just can’t see things realistically- that IS a problem.
