Elly walks around in a perpetual state of being butthurt. How about a smile once in a blue moon? Her husband made a silly, meaningless joke and she looks like she’s been slapped.

My wife and I both have a great sense of humor but I don’t have a death wish.

You may not imagine a marriage like Elly and John’s working but in the strip it did. The strip end before they did.

My husband teases me but I just mumble: “Very funny. Ha! Ha! Ha!” But his teasing got out of hand when my older son started imitating him.
