The reason no snacks before supper

From Lynn’s Comments: My grandkids and I have “squisher huggies” now. These days, I’m not strong enough to perform the “roller coaster!”

Looks like we’re done talking up Gordon and singing his praises (for now).

Wow, April sure was lucky that the power went off at the dentist’s office, that John’s receptionist didn’t show up and the vacuum machine backed up today! Otherwise April never would get such a fantastic reception from John on average working days.

When I had a bad day at work I was still able to give my child a big loving hug when I got home. No need to bring all the troubles from work home to my family.

As a dad, I can surly attest this is the BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD!!!!!

I used to do that with my kids, at least until they got too heavy.

The best hugs can indeed make your head spin.

Ah, I remember when my kids were small enough to hug like that - and to still enjoy that kind of hug. :)

It’s been a l-o-o-ng time since I’ve seen a coat like that.

She should consider herself lucky—most kids don’t even get a ‘Hi’. I know I didn’t—found out twice why Mom stayed as far away from Dad as she could when he came home.

Now we get it: Gordon is the son John never had.

So the parents DO know that April exists – who’d a thunk it.

And they both enjoyed it thoroughly.
