Is Tracey a guy ??

I remember very well when I became engaged. There was a engagement ring and people were telling me congratulations and asking me if we had set a date for the wedding and asking to get a good look at that engagement ring. It was a giddy, happy time as I recounted the romantic moment that led up to the proposal.

Gordon’s engagement announcement is the opposite of that. He throws it over his shoulder as he is dragging Tracey out by the hand which he has neatly covered so that people cannot see her ring (or lack thereof). What should be a happy moment for Tracey and she has not said one word today or yesterday. She looks back at Mike and Rhetta plaintively as if she wants to say something, but is not given a chance.

So, I guess the fact that Gordon and Tracy are tying the knot excuses his dissing her yesterday.

Oh, well—this story arc does prove that a college diploma isn’t always necessary to suceed in life.

This arc is 20 years old. Wanna know how it comes out?

The Gordon/Tracey story is one of my favorites. Shows what love, hard work and determination can accomplish… with a little help from their friends.

I’m gonna tell Anthony and Elizabeth right now. Here’s to a long future of manipulation, meddling, busybody-ism, and wrecking other people’s marriages!

Well, okay, but…some time ago, it came up once that your father, well…if you ever do that to Tracey or any of your kids, well…

Elly will be happy when Michael and Elizabeth get married.

Good for Gordon and Tracy, two rock solid people, with the best of common interests, each other.

Good for Gordo! He is working toward his better life and has certainly earned the right to do so. Even if it IS just a comic character :D

Aww, I’m glad for him, he seems so mature for his age!

Gordo may have chosen not to go to university, but he has always been a couple of steps ahead of Mike and other friends. Gordo will be that high school classmate that never left town, settled down into a business, got married and raised a family – forgoing the grind of higher education and climbing the corporate ladder.

Yay Gordon and Tracey! Very nice!

Who will be the most persuasive for Michael to get married?

1.) Rhetta.

2.) Rhetta’s father.

Though there are many nice (IMO) comments here, I’m surprised at the number of snide and even insulting comments regarding this couple’s relationship.

Makes me wonder what sorts of lives are led by those making such remarks.
