I’ve been wearing a mask when around even members of my family who aren’t in my pod/bubble. And I’ve discovered two things that are relevant:
1: Eventually, you figure out how to wear it without fogging your glasses. AND you can stand it for even an hour or two. I’ve even forgotten it was on when I drove off.
2: It’s possible to have a pleasant and fruitful conversation from 2 meters distance, though there’s some need to repeat. (This is no different from how spouse and I communicate, now that we’re both getting deaf).
But when the restrictions are lifted, I expect an ORGY of hugs and handshakes.
