When the person that’s cutting my hair asks me how I want it cut I reply, “Just cut the gray one.” By the time she is finished my haircut looks exactly like Peter’s.

Never could understand why parents make such a fuss over their teenagers’ hair. When my nephew was in high school, he went through so many strange and creative hairstyles. His parents kept quiet about it because it was just a phase he was going through. Now in his 30s, he’s got quite an average looking haircut.

Just keep repeating to yourself: Teenage Boy. That explains all stupid behavior.

Does no one know why he says “it’s a puzzlement”? It’s a song from The King and I sung by the bald actor Yul Brynner in the original Broadway musical and in the film.

I held off until I was 36 to do it. And my dear (now) departed mother acted pretty much the same way

I’ts only hair which grows back, unlike all the ink that kids and young adults are getting today. I know it’s more acceptable now but fads do change.

How old is this classic? The kid looking like a skinhead/Nazi seems like a worry a mom would have now for sure.
