Our book club got into an interesting discussion about kids yesterday. Can there really be kids like those in “The Turn of the Screw” or “The Bad Seed”? You know, kids that are born bad or evil? Nothing definitive came from the discussion, but. . .we ain’t got nothin’ to pride ourselves on with the violence and other crap that finds its way into the Google consciousness.
