I love the scene in Oh God! (1972) where God changes when the protagonist goes to introduce someone to God.
God can appear like and sound like anyone; that is why people should " Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
Reminds me of the story where a person is resuscitated after a heart attack and says he saw God in heaven. The doctor asked him what God looked like and he replied, “Well, for one thing, she’s black.”

Heston did the God voice-over in the “Ten Commandments,” too.

I think Alanis Morissette is actually an alto, but we’re not sure, because she didn’t have a speaking role in Dogma.
