Started out in the 1960’s with teeny tent for two. Then owned a popup trailer called Nimrod. Canvas top, slide out beds, stowage under them, no appliances. Trailed like nothing there and a super camp out experience. Later went to large tent, which was also great fun, but missed that trailer. Camping fun faded when the chains began to replace the ‘natural’ spaces with motel features and the only night music was the sound of multiple A/C compressors and tv’s. Not much fun there.
Sad song: The times they are a-changin. Bob Dylan, 1964, and he didn’t know the half of it.
