HOWEVER: My ex loved the IDEA of sweaters. She had about 8 feet of closet space with hanging sweaters and half of that space with bags of sweaters on the floor. One September, I attached a (today’s) dated stick-it to all her sweaters. After 18 months, I suggested that if any sweater still had its stick-it, she had clearly not worn it either of the last two winters, so it might as well be sold or donated. We didn’t get divorced over that, but it was a near thing. And she was still grumbling about it when we DID get our divorce.
