But it would be a real nuisance to have to change the batteries. Not as big a nuisance as changing the clocks twice a year, but still …

The idea can sound a little weird, but I’m sure a lot of things we have now and we consider normal, would have sounded even weirder decades ago, so I’m keeping my mind open ☺

LED wall on your house. Change the graphics from an animated Santa’s Sleigh to Jack-o-lanterns with a black cat slinking through the frame. Not to mention, full movies! The HOA won’t love it.

The biggest trouble with frisbees illuminated in that manner is that you can’t see them until it’s too late…

I have 2 projectors and some fairy lights on a bush. You don’t get me very far off the ground for any reason.

I have a neighbor who, at age 60 a few years ago, was taking down the Christmas lights with his son, fell, and died. Holy cow. We got a flier for a business that would put your lights up for you and for the first time we’re considering it.

Jef, this really hit home with me. Last year, I fell off my ladder while hanging lights and ended up in the emergency room. I’m just getting too old, and my family won’t let me hang lights anymore. My son will do do honors this year.

Thank you! Hopefully your hospital trip began and ended in the E.R.; the really bad accidents take you further along the hospital continuum.

In south Texas, some families enjoy having lights up all year round. An invention that allowed programming color changes would be quite popular.
