I’ve lived near NYC and I’ve lived in Frazz’s area. The difference is the pizza, not the boxes. If they would learn to season the pies in the Midwest perhaps Frazz could stop with this nonsense.
And Pizza boxes HAVE changed in the last 30-40 years. When I was young they were very flimsy, single-layer cardboard. I think I still have the singe marks from sitting in the car with the hot pizza on my lap. Now they are corrugated.
The first serious challenge for AI. Surely the world will be a better place. Research Universities will reap accolades and further funding in the race toward the first patent.
There is a tremendous amount of product engineering focused on making products “good enough” at a “reasonable” cost of production and delivery. It is a continual complaint of marketing and sales that engineers want products to be “right”, while they can sell it just fine if it’s “good enough”.

Perfect is the enemy of good.
Also, it’s expensive!

Today’s pizzas aren’t floppy because of the box. It’s because most places don’t use proper pizza ovens anymore.

Deja vu, I noted the decrisping problem with pizza boxes yesterday.
Now if I could just figure out some of those other lessons Frazz knows.

New York style pizza is great, but has a half-life of about 5 minutes. It is best eaten at the pizzeria immediately out of the oven.

Every pizza delivery is a geometry lesson. Square box, round pizza, cut into triangles.
