At the rate he is going, he will still be wide awake when he gets the wake-up call.

They’ll forget, you will miss your flight, there will be an unexplained extra charge on your check-out bill, breakfast will make you sick, and when you get back to your job there will be a reorganization putting you in Milton Waddams old office.

Maybe call the desk and ask if it’s been sent yet.

And he’ll spend most of the evening worrying about the vertical stripes on his shorts conflicting with the horizontal stripes on the bedspread…

Is that still a thing. Most hotels now have an alarm clock radio. Better hotels have ones that will dock with your phone, or just use your phone as an alarm.

Never figured out how to use the alarm setting on your cell phone?

Even for Luddites with no cell phone, there are traveling alarm clocks. I used to have one. It folded into its own little case. You wound it and set it before going to bed. Very reliable.

The moment I get into the room, I disconnect the phone. I’m trying to get organized and don’t want to be bothered by the “Is your room OK?” call. I also don’t want to get anyone else’s wake up call. Self sufficiency is the only way to go when sleep is involved.

And if you keep this up we’ll over and deliver it personally and physically.
