They also like cat and dog food. We had one coming every night that kept stealing dog food. The hubs thought it was squirrels, so one day he used bungee cords to cross-tie the top on. The next day, the whole garbage can was gone off the back porch, and there was a trail of cat and dog food up the hill behind the house! Later we saw that it was a cinnamon bear. I accidentally turned on the sprinklers one day, and another one was in the yard. He went “WOOF”! And ran off. We live in the woods.
