I disagree with the last item in the Lisa Belkin quote on the blog. To say she doesn’t want to hear about whether Mitt Romney’s wife works outside the home is to play into the absurd spin the Romney campaign has put on the Rosen flap.
Rosen never insulted stay-at-home mothers, and she never should have apologized. When you’re the pampered wife of a billionaire, you have no idea what it means to be a working class stay-at-home mom; you have hired help to beat your children for you.
