It’s our job to eat them just as they become ripe, so they don’t rot.

Wealth expires and loses value over time.

    Money does the opposite.

This may cause problems in any currency-based economy.

Then again, it may be designed to.

Even though he was a multi-millionaire entrepreneur, Ray Kroc was actually something of a socialist. He offered a basic, very inexpensive, consistent product that was within the means of pretty much everybody. The only problem was (is?) that you wouldn’t want to live on a steady diet of his fare, for reasons of health and (lack of) variety.

Finally I am ripe and ready for the picking. Getting here was a bitch. Enjoy the ride. Who said getting old was a drag?

Using your knuckles, rap on the middle of the frog while holding it up to your ear, or flick it with your finger (like flicking a crumb off your shirt). A ripe frog will have a hollow sound when knocked, which sounds more like a ‘plunk’ than a ‘thwack’. An unripe frog will have more of a higher pitched sound, while an overripe one will make a ‘thud’ or a lower-pitched sound.

Assuming, of course, that frogs are like watermelons.

Au contraire! When my deli meats turn green, then they rot: it is time to throw them out!

    Maybe you’re just frog-focussed?
