If it’s a merde stick it’s already served it’s most useful purpose.

Is that an old saw or is it a hackneyed saw?

These remind me of Gary Larson’s “Cow Tools”.

Before you sharpen one end of a stick, make sure you have the whole stick.

The simplest tool (weapon) you can make is a punji stick. Just sharpen the stick, and it’s even more effective if you leave the “dirty” on it.

Did caveman lay plans for the future using a dirty old stick?

Stick around… it’s going to get good.

I was saved by a big ugly stick.

Can’t start a fire with one stick.

I always like to keep my stick honed. You never know, after all, when somebody needs a good sharp poke.

If a kid hits a kid with a stick, you take the stick away from him, you don’t arm all the kids with sticks.

The adult should not need to hold a big branch to keep an eye on the kids.

But the tool will be all sticky.
