The bird in the center seems to be the know-it-all. Bird#1 is the inquisitive one. Bird#2 is the one who’s memorized the rulebook. Bird#3 is the malcontent/kvetch. I’m familiar with all of these bird types, particularly the #3s.

Judging from some actors stage performances, it’s hard to tell, if they’re dead or alive.
One catty review I recall, was directed at a production of one of Shakespeare’s great tragic plays. Said the critic: " This is the first time I’ve ever known the entire cast of Macbeth to die in the First Act !
To which, one of the wits in the cast quipped: " _If it were done when ’tis done, then ’twere well. It were done quickly. "

If you want to, you can eat it if it doesn’t eat you first!
Now, that isn’t hard, is it? Why must we make such a big production of these simple and essential life (and death) functions?

I’ve always wondered why flocks of scavenger birds following the undead around wasn’t a “dead giveaway”.
(That, and the smell.)
