A bit of background: The Toronto Island is car free except for maintenance vehicles and school buses, which only go on certain routes. The bicycle is the preferred method of transpotation, and they have some very old and unique (and hand built) models there, some with hand forged trailers made by a local blacksmith, who also repairs the bikes. Some bikes are museum pieces, and this trike is no exception…it’s a high end model from 1960, but it won’t be too high end in a few days’ time!
