So, all these are actual costumes that kids came up with? Very creative.

That first panel reminds me of the old Road Runner cartoons, where they would freeze frame when he was running and add something like “Epidexipteryx” at the bottom of the screen. I’d like to see him try running in that costume!

It can only be a flying monkey if it has a tail. If not, it’s a flying ape. The picture I glanced at did have tail feathers, so there might well be a tail in there, too. Love the costume! So colorful and creative!

Reminds me when I was 5 or 6 and I was dressed for a Spring Festival in a “realistic” rooster chic costume. The kids thought I looked more like a baby parrot than a baby rooster.

Those tail feathers weren’t useless if they helped the dino find a mate.

My favorite dinos are all in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in pgh pa. They’re the reason why I used to want to be an archaeologist…
