If you’d take your orange behind outside, Jon wouldn’t have to deal with this.

Get a dog, they go outside and are far more affectionate

But then you’d have to use the cat’s litter box as well.

I’d much rather clean a litter box than take a slobbering, stinky dog for a walk outside in -30ºCelcius weather…

Oh Ive had that happen oldfarmehand. You are right, when he used to bulldoze out of there you had better light a match…Oh you can train cats to use the toilet, comicgos.I prefer to know what is going on with their bathroom habits. It helps to know when they are sick or healtly.

I don’t own any pet, but have to put-up with fecal matter in my mulched garden anyway. Wish I could make my fence 1000 feet high.

Amen, Rise 22. Only a major idiot would clean one every WEEK but then, this is Jon.

You can get cats to agree to use a toilet and to flush it. You cant’ convince them to wipe.

If you want I dog, you want a child. If you want a cat, you want a teen. The dog would die if you left for alone for two weeks of vacation. The cat would be at the door complaining about where the heck you were. (And, in either case, you’d have a lot of urine smell the first from “Couldn’t help it”and the latter from “This will show YOU!”

There are the automated cat litter but they seem to not function much better than the manual.

And changing it once a week would lead to marking. Though Gar does go outside at night so the litter might not be as bad as we think.

Dogs and cats are both great to own! And cats are very affectionate dugharry, the ones I’ve known anyway.

And if you are going to have one pet, you should have two! They keep each other company when you are gone. And yes, cats and dogs generally get along great in the same household.

And shades you want fish, so you don’t have to go outside? Did you ever hear the saying, “Walk your dog everyday, whether you own a dog or not”

    And today’s strip is hilarious!

Garfield, next time you better go outside and find the place privately instead of the litter box inside the house.

I have a Litter Maid. It scoops itself every time it’s used, and I only have to dump the tray every three or four days.

Yeah - move to Arizona and get shot, denied a transplant or get racially profiled.

Theresa, when I first got my Litter Maid™, my older cat used to jump in, then jump out (without using it) then sit there just to watch the rake do its thing. It kept him entertained for hours.
