I’ll start tomorrow.

a jaunty rolling over is a wonderful bit of exercise

Another pearl of wisdom from the cat world. The old do as I say, not as I do. I’d much prefer to just do as my cats do. eat, sleep, purr, repeat.

Good idea!

And then God created a nap – and rested – and the rest is history!

I’m amazed Garfield does anything briskly, beyond maybe eating

Garfield has great wisdom.

Start the day with a brisk nap…especially on a holiday!

After a trip to the bathroom, I had to work on the heater to get it to come on. Then I cranked up the old computer and went to gocomics while the tea brews. Today’s the day for my bacon/cheese quiche. Yum.

I do, Garfield, I do. With my dogs. Wipes me out for a couple of hours. It sucks getting old.

I notice they do alot of the same jokes on Monday.

If only…

The only brisk walk for Garfield would involve the fridge.

Eat first, then nap, then eat when you wake up…rinse and repeat.

A prelude to the video game generation.

Garfield has always been a man of words, but not a man of action.

I napped from 11 PM last night to 10:15 this morning. That should be enough.

and welcome back to Garfield’s reality.

I wake up, use the restroom, then take my crazy senior shar pei girl for a loooong, fast romp! My chihuahua boy goes for either a short walk or a long one depending on his mood. Perfect way to wake up!

My cat is sitting on my lap doing her “blinky-eyes” routine. She likes Garfield.

Well as the saying goes…

If a “Brisk Nap” is a thing, Garfield is the one to do it.

That’s Garfield’s secret to staying in shape – like bowling ball! ;-p

Understandable. All that sleeping wears out cats!

Start the day after you have gotten plenty of rest.
