There was a Christmas Eve Garfield strip years ago where Garfield was going to bed at noon. Jon asked him why. Garfield said “The sooner you go to bed, the sooner it’s Christmas morning.” Jon tucked him in & said “Goodnight little fella” (Awwww!!!)
I like L. Frank Baum’s version. You only get one present from him in your life. But it changes your life for the better. And you get just when you need it most.
