I haven’t burped in over 10 years, really. I had a Nissen Procedure to keep stomach acid out of my esophagus in which the surgeon wraps part of your stomach around it to replace the worn-out sphincter muscle. Only problem, it’s a one-way valve too rigid to let gas out. Works like a charm and I’ve had no heartburn since though I do miss an occasional nice burp.
