They way things are going, The Count prefers not to think about the future. Scares the Bejesus out of The Count. The exception being, of course, football season. Still 15 weeks and two days until the opening kickoff. Seems like for-ev-errrr.

When I was much younger, 10 or so, I longed for dessert. When I was an adult, the foods the thing. Now, that I’m an elder, the dessert’s the thing. Today I look forward to: carrot cake.

I try not to think about the future because it makes it hard to go to sleep.

I always have dessert planned and made before I start planning and cooking dinner. I like Garfield’s priorities.

I got some bad news fellow Garfield fans. I won’t be seeing the movie until Wednesday or Thursday unfortunately. This is because my sister doesn’t have enough to see the movie tomorrow, which I’m distraught about. I don’t want spoilers so please tell your opinions in a spoiler-free way.

That is as far into the future as Garfield looks.
