As I know many of you have, I’ve read the first two volumes of “Walt & Skeezix” (and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of volume 3). Just want to pause here to commend the gentle genius of this strip. It’s enduring charm and majesty lies in its sweet, simple, understated brilliance in capturing the essence of everyday life, with characters of real depth and substance. It’s hard to remember they are not “real,” because, quite honestly, they have become real to me. And I love them.
