If only GoComics would make these links “clickable”. Would save a lot of tsuris!
Coming back in late; I see that other posters mentioned how we used to have clickable links some years back. It was a grand experiment where for a short time we were blessed with the ability to do underscores, strike throughs, change the size of our text, color words or even individual letters, using freely available codes found in a search, and some would leave links to color codes. There was also the ability to put a color background on your post. We could do super and sub text too.
The mention about the bandwidth sounds right. With more people using their phones for this stuff, on a limited data plan, the pages as they were would be moider.
In my instruction for hopping the links I should have said to highlight the link then right click for the options panel. I always take the “Open in a new tab” option and then when I close the link I am right back here at the spot I left off at.
