That’s right, if you don’t stick with Ida’s “dark arts”, the girls will never form the coven that the witch doll can use to embark on world domination.

It’s a full classics update for the 21st:

Skeezix swipes Uncle Walt’s new fishing lure. The only concern Walt has is… did any of the fish go for it?

Hipshot gets his retainer, with the promise of another pay-off if he can get the job done. He also meets another old friend in Hays City.

Lazy pays off George and takes the news clipping right to Brenda, in an attempt to spoil the wedding. Are we finally going to find out what’s the story?

The city finds out about Dr. Little and orders Skeezix to padlock the shack, it’s not a proper domicile. Much better to have the guy try to find a park bench in the middle of December.

SPOILER ALERT for fans of “For Better or For Worse”:

When she was about the same age as these three girls, April was assigned to do a report on the Amazon River for school. She just downloaded the info from the Internet and tried to pass it as her own work—and was caught, just like they were.

BTW, all I know about the Amazon is that it’s in South America, and that anacondas live there! LOL.

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Oh, man, I don’t think I realized that Ida Knoe the evil talking doll left Arty the AI to die in his crashed spaceship on the surface of Mars! Unlike the children, Arty doesn’t need oxygen to live, but his batteries will eventually run out, so he’ll have days or maybe even weeks alone to contemplate his own failures and how they led to his inevitable doom. Not sure if Ida Knoe left him there because she was jealous of him or because her magical powers of teleportation won’t work on something without a soul.
