Way to self gloss Hank. Now round up the Milford NERDS, put them on GilPa’s Piper Cub and let’s enjoy the rest of Summer at Milford Country Club. Is that too much to ask?

    I’m. Right. Here!

Even the authors of this strip go cheap on the sign work? This is really insulting.

I see Gil did what some of the other snarkers suggested. He ditched Luke, Jr. and Jami. Kid free, girlfriend free, what costumed vixen is he headed towards to hit up? And speaking of hitting up, you should be hitting up Mopped Up Thorp about now.

This would be a great time for Gil to ask, “What in the wild, wild world o’ sports is a-goin’ on [with this strip}?”

This is only the beginning. Like Dorothy Sayers writing herself into the Lord Peter Wimsey novels as Harriet Vane, HB is about the become a recurring character that Gil clears of murder and eventually marries.

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Imagine if you were invited, just briefly, to bask in the holy radiance of your Creators, except that it has to take the form of walking by a couple of dudes sitting behind a folding table at Comic-Con, where you’ll be surrounded by absolute dorks. Would probably take a lot of the mystery out of the whole thing, right?
