I can't believe how outrageously expensive Halloween costumes gotten. When I was young, we just made our Halloween costumes out of common household items. So you went as a butter churn, or a spinning wheel? Very funny.
When my brother turned 13 on Halloween, mom dressed him as a woman in her black dress and put make up on him. Don’t remember if he had on a wig or not but when some boys came to the door for Trick or Treat one of them asked him for a date. Don’t know if he was serious or not.
