Growing up we raked up the leaves and then we’d jump in them, made a game out of it….and then we raked them up and into the can. Next day we went to the next kid’s house that had to rake up the leaves and played there. We all got our chores done and had fun doing it.
When I was a kid, it was simple – if it’s for home or family, you do it for free, if it’s for close friends, you PROBABLY do it for free, and if it’s for a neighbor who agrees in advance to pay, you are in business! Of course, if they decide not to pay, you did it for free. Great incentive for a budding entrepreneur.

Rake the lawn at home – free. Have the neighbors hire you to do theirs – $$

Keep in mind Grandma’s taking care of you both. So, you can both help out around the house without expecting anything in return!
