For me, math was more exhausting than any physical exercise. It has always been the thorn in my side, and it disgusts me that it’s so hard for me to comprehend. I graduated with a Master’s Degree with a 3.88 GPA, but math is still a mystery to me.
Is or was this typical, to make kids study such things over summer vacation? I never had to do anything like that, and I don’t know of anyone who did. It sounds like one of those horror stories we heard in elementary school about things we’d have to do in high school that never came to pass.
