With age comes the opportunity for wisdom, many never answer the call.

With age comes deviousness, at least.

How did that work. You should have said, “Go rake the yard, then do your homework, eat, then go to bed. No TV, no games, no cell phone. Tomorrow you will do your homework after a short half hour break. If not, we will repeat today.”

“Too soon we get old, too late we get smart…”

Congratulations, Gram. You’ve just demonstrated that you think homework is of less importance. At the end of the day, he’ll have had to do some unpleasant stuff but the homework will still be undone. It’ll be his life lesson.

And when you’re done, rake the yard.
