Mrs. Angelini: For four agonizing weeks, no word about Mr. Angelini came out of Korea. Then one day, another telegram.. Mr. Angelini was alive! And there was more good news: He was being discharged from the Army! Sent home immediately! Sweet Madonna! That's today! He's coming in on the train today! Mrs. Angelini's mother in law: Oh, praise Jesus! Carmela! Wait! Wait for Uncle Tony to take you! Mrs. Angelini: But I couldn't wait! Not for once more moment! But hindsight being 20/20, maybe I should have at least read the rest of the telegram...I would have been better prepared for what I would find. Mrs. Angelini's Story South Philadelphia, 1952
