Heart: My Mom's so cheap! She never gets me anything new! Did you have a lot of clothes when you were a little girl, Mrs. Angelini? Mrs. Angelini: Who, me? Nah, my parents were poor as church mice. Plus, I went to Catholic School, so we wore the same outfit every day. Mrs. Angelini: It wasn't like you kids today. You kids want for nothing. Hundred-dollar sneakers, 200 dollar coat...it's crazy! Heart: Never look to old people for material sympathy. Mrs. Angelini: I had three sisters and we shared one pair of boots. If it snowed, we had to take turns playing outside.
In my day, web pages took a full minute to load anything. Nothing like today, with your fancy chromes and fiery foxes.
