Mrs. Angelini: So what are you gonna do? You can't keep a dog here! What will your mother say? Heart: Don't tell my mother, Mrs. Angelini! Please! I promise to keep him only until we find his owner! Mrs. Angelini: And how long's that gonna take? How can you keep the dog a secret? Heart: I thought we could keep him in your room. Mrs. Angelini: Lord, if you're gonna test me, you couldn't just send a plague of locusts?
Heart, this never works out. Just tell your mom, she’ll understand, and we can move on to the next story. Or add the dog to the cast.
