A Father's Day without a Dad...now that is something realy sad... No one to take me to the game, no shoulders on which to perch. No man with whom to share a name, or a frothy beer of birch. And then I see that lady there who washes all my clothes... who packs my lunch, curls my hair, and makes me wipe my nose. She paints my nails and buys me stuff and shows me right from wrong... She lets me watch my favorite films, even when they're really long. And though I sometimes wish real hard that I could have a Dad...having just a Mom alone is really not so bad. So on this day, I know what to say, it fits just like a glove... Happy Dad's Day to my single mom who comes with twice the love.
Single mom’s OWN.
