Mom: So to get out of the dance recital, Heart lied to her dance teacher about having a broken leg... ... Then she thought she'd be free to join cheerleading, only Miss Lacey gave her the part of the "Twisted Old Man" so she still has to be in the recital, but with a fake broken leg... do I have this right so far? Dean: Kind of... Did I mention that Heart can't use the recital costume that you already paid for? Mom: Did Heart mention my tendency to kill the messenger?
