What kind of lame reading list is this? At Heart’s age, she should at least be reading A. A. Milne, if not Robert Louis Stevenson and the Jungle Books. She’s surely outgrown Dr. Seuss by now.

Just try it! The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl may be made into a movie starring Heart.

Hop on Pop, One Fish-Two Fish-Red Fish-Blue Fish……….. Put Me in the Zoo!But hey – let Heart be a kid, especially while she is one. She won’t be a kid forever, and there will be enough growing-up misery to smack her in the face until she’s eighteen… or twenty-one, or anything else. Let her enjoy childhood.

The only things kids should be reading in the summertime is comic books! That and Mad magazine!Call me a heretic, or a commie! I don’t care!

I don’t have to read that second book. I see it on the Interstate every day.’Course, I like to call it the Chicago “Howdy”. …Apologies to Uncle Jed.

She wants to be an entertainer, why doesn’t she read classic plays or something?

Oh, ask a dumb question. Heart is lazy and thinks everything will just come her way without the hard work.

I don’t remember ever having required reading in school, but I spent a lot of my summers in the library just because I loved to read.

The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl must be realy good! i need to Read it sometime!
