Dean should have tried out his mask at yesterday’s RIP 5K race at Laurel Hill Cemetery. It’s a fun, annual event, and costumes are encouraged. Yesterday’s entries included two dinosaurs, Halloween elves (yes, you read that right), Wonder Women, Greco-Roman gods and goddesses,the entire cast of “The Wizard of Oz” (including the Lollipop Guild and Lullabye League), various monsters and a man dressed as Carmen Miranda.
Maybe these Sunday strips where Heart and Dean are still in their old models are glimpses of the in-between years from 3rd grade to middle school; the years we didn’t see. Probably not.
