Friends of ours invited us to a picnic last month. They had become vegetarians. They had some veggie burgers that tasted just like beef, also chicken patties that tasted like chicken. I’ve never had a problem eating black bean “burgers” but was blown away by how good their taste. That said I would be embarrassed to serve a beef tasting patty to a life-long vegetarian. A veggie tasting veggie patty seems better.

A hamburger for every taste, that’s what I call a good menu

How do I get invited to their next barbecue? Family cookouts were never that good when I was a kid.

It’s all in the prep and the quality, and quantity, of spices and other ingredients. Don’t forget the chopped onions and garlic and other stuff. YMMV.

This is getting a little too saccharin for me. Someone start a food fight or something.

Oh. I though he was pointing at the leaves on the hedge or maybe the lawn.
