Not necessarily, it just means Kat won’t be swimming.

I wondered how Heart was going to take the news about Kat. On the 0ne hand, referring to her recent doctor’s visit Heart seems to have strong anxieties about the onset of puberty, On the other hand Heart seems very competitive and might felt disappointed that among her social group she wasn’t the first.

THAT’S what you were thinking of!?!?!? I was thinking of the pool party. And, BTW, Heart isn’t competitive that way, she doesn’t want to be first in this case.

Heart is getting quick on the uptake, that apparently only took a few seconds

The prunes on that poster kinda look like feces. Then again, prunes in general look like feces. Unhealthy feces.

Well, we can turn the pool party into all girls sleepover.

But tampons are fine for swimming…

I was a “late bloomer”. When my folks were asked if I had “started”, she would say “no”, and I would get that sad and sorry look. I had no idea what they were talking about. I was just told if I got “sick” and messed up my clothes at school, to come home. I always thought they were talking about up-chucking. Of course I would come home!! No idea!!

Being male and a Grossologist doesn’t it bother me and I have empathy for every female who does. With some they encounter cramps which I have heard can be quite painful. There is also a great deal of information on the subject.

I’ve been thinking this for a while; while steenzs’ art is cool, I don’t really like how she basically changed the characters personalities. The Tattuli strips were great because of the art and the personalities. Not dissing the strip, just sharing an opinion.
