My youngest was about to start kindergarten the next day (this was 10 years ago) and had found a pair of scissors and unbeknownst to us gave herself a hair cut. Which had chunks of hair cut off in various places. So we took her to a hair place and asked if they could fix it. They did. So kid + scissors = yikes.
Nice job! I used to cut my own hair in high school, though it was a lot shorter than hers (I’d get impatient, and not want to wait for an appointment somewhere). It came out well – better than when I trimmed my bangs in second grade, sitting at my desk (they were in my eyes).
I also cut my own during the pandemic. Came out pretty well! It takes a long time, especially if I do the back too, so I’d do the top and sides one day, and the back on another day.

Let’s hope things don’t get hairy after this.

The nice thing about hair is that even if you do something horrible to it, it grows.

She got it remarkable even for a do-it-yourself job. Only possible in the comics. (The other possibility in comics would be a hideous job.)

That’s not the dramatic change I was expecting, which is pretty fair considering they’re just a couple of kids with scissors.

I don’t think the custodial staff will be very impressed…

Shouldn’t her hair be even curlier now that it’s shorter?

If she’s referring to Disney’s Rapunzel, that character didn’t cut her hair. Somebody else cut it.

Much better job than what I’ve seen on Tik Tok.

I was against it, but I’ve got to admit she looks cuter.
I wonder how her crush will react.
