And ain’t that the truth! It amazes me that people DO some of those things, never mind going on TV and admitting it. No wonder our kids are screwed up!
Jamaal is suffering from selective memory loss. There have always been bad things on television. What’s next, pants up to his sternum and shaking his fist at the sky?
I could do with less cursing and sexual exploits but the biting sarcasm that passed for humor 20 or 30 years ago was bad. It turned out a generation of messed up kids.
I walked away from TV, years ago. I was endlessly annoyed by the strident screams that were passed off as “comedy,” endless fights, murders and shootings passed off as “drama” and a lot of brainless propaganda being passed off on news programs as “editorials.”

Depends on how you define “bad”. Honeymooners and domestic abuse, for example.
